Biriz Karli-Alemdar, a Turkish-born American, is an archaeological artifact conservator who has worked on numerous excavation sites in Türkiye and served as a lecturer at the University of Ankara.
What began as a curiosity and experimentation with Photoshop—then a new and exciting tool—evolved into a passion for digital art and photography. Over time, she expanded her artistic pursuits to include composite material sculpting and painting, always incorporating digital tools for planning and visualization.
Now a California resident for over 20 years, she owns a graphic design company specializing in work with nonprofit organizations. Through her business, she continues to channel her creativity into serving her local community while staying true to her digital media roots.
